TAMPA, Fla. — Did you squeeze a lot of Charmin into your vanity? Is you towel closet overfilling with Quilted Northern? Do you have no more space to store your Cottonelle?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, you may be a TP hoarder.
Lots of Americans rushed to stores once health officials declared the coronavirus a pandemic. Not only did they buy out all the soups, spaghetti and bags of salasd, they emptied stores of toilet paper.
A new website is designed to help with the TP crisis. It will help you if you have too much toilet paper in your home.
The site is www.howmuchtoiletpaper.com.
You enter the number of rolls of toilet paper you have and how many trips your family makes to the bathroom.
The online calculator then figures out how much TP you need to survive the pandemic.
For example, if you live alone and have ten rolls and visit the bathroom three times a day, you have enough toilet paper to last 53 days.
There are even advanced options where you can factor in the average number of wipes per trip, sheets per wipe and sheets on a roll.
The website's creators say most than two million people already entered their data. They say the average user has five times the amount of TP needed to endure a 14-day quarantine.
