Tropical Storm Cindy is weakening slightly but is forecast to strengthen Saturday, according to the National Hurricane Center.

As of 11 p.m., Cindy is currently 735 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. It's moving west-northwest at 15 mph with 50 mph maximum sustained winds.

Cindy doesn't currently pose a threat to land and there are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.

Forecasters say the system is expected to continue to move in a west-northwestward to northwestward motion over the next few days. On that track, Cindy will stay east and northeast of the northern Leeward Islands through early next week.
